   My name is Darrell Havard.  I play a "tapping instrument" called the Chapman Grand Stick and the N/S Stick. In 2001, I toured with Afroman (with the hit single "Because I Got High"), and in January 2002, I started touring with the jazz/funk/rock quintet Cookout. I resumed touring with the Afroman band in Fall of 2003 through Fall of 2005. I was a freelance Stickist and bassist in Hattiesburg, MS, performing with blues legend Tommy "T-Bone" Pruitt, New Orleans style funk group Mojo Funk, as well as performing solo and small group jazz, funk, and rock shows. Now I live in Richardson, TX, a Dallas suburb, providing upscale Fine Music for the finest venues and events in North Texas.
